All of the pieces below started out as planks from the lumber yard. Most I constructed using traditional woodworking joinery (dovetail, mortise & tenon, dado, etc.), so "modern" fasteners like nails and screws weren't required. Traditional woodworking joinery is time-tested, and results in a piece that will not only make it through a move, but will last for generations.
